Fine Engineering & Development Inc. was founded in 2016 to help homeowners, builders, and investors move their projects from ideas to reality.
We specialize in practical engineering solutions for residential and commercial projects, including building permits, structural design, mechanical engineering, site grading, and development planning.
In 2025, the company expanded into a partnership to support larger projects and provide more integrated services.
Our mission is simple: help homeowners, builders, and investors plan their projects.
We turn initial ideas and layouts into professional designs, engineering drawings, and building permit approvals.

Robert Grin
Director | Broker of Record at FINE HOMES REALESTATE INC.
Robert Grin is a Broker of Record in Ontario with over 11 years of real estate experience across residential, commercial, and investment-focused transactions. He is the Co-Founder of Fine Engineering & Development Inc. and owner of Fine Homes Real Estate, with a strong background in client representation, property sales, and strategic real estate advisory throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Robert has worked with a wide range of clients and property types, including resale homes, pre-construction projects, family homes, condos, and investment properties. Through this experience, he developed practical knowledge in negotiations, property evaluation, sales strategy, and client advisory, helping clients move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Robert is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Russian. His combined background in real estate, business, and development-oriented thinking provides clients with a more practical and strategic approach to property decisions across Ontario.
Alexander Cardenas Fernandez
Structural & Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng) | BCIN Designer
Alexander Cardenas Fernandez is a Professional Engineer in Ontario with 8 years of engineering experience in structural design, HVAC design, building permits, and construction coordination for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. He is the Co-Founder of Fine Engineering & Development Inc. and holds a Master of Engineering from Western University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Alexander has worked on a wide range of projects in Ontario and internationally, including houses, townhouses, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and structural rehabilitation projects. Through this experience, he developed practical knowledge in permit approvals, code compliance, consultant coordination, and construction-focused design.
Alexander is licensed by Professional Engineers Ontario and holds BCIN qualifications in Small Buildings, Structural, and HVAC. His combined background in engineering, building design, and real estate provides clients with a more coordinated and practical approach to permit-ready projects across Ontario.
Anton Reznikov
Master in Enginering (M.Eng) |Project Coordinator
Anton Reznikov holds a Master in Engineering and is the Project Coordinator at Fine Engineering & Development Inc. He has experience supporting engineering, renovation, and retrofit projects, with practical exposure to Ontario building code requirements, consultant coordination, and technical project delivery. His background includes residential renovation work, retrofit projects, and engineering support across multidisciplinary teams.
Anton has worked on a variety of projects involving houses, renovation scopes, retrofit assignments, and engineering-related coordination. Through this experience, he developed practical knowledge in technical documentation, project coordination, consultant communication, and construction-focused problem solving, helping projects move forward in a more organized and efficient manner.
Anton completed training in Building Codes in Ontario and brings a proactive and detail-oriented approach to the team. His engineering background and project coordination experience support a more structured and practical path from design development to project execution.
Mijal Artica
Mechanical-Electrical Engineering Designer (B.Eng)
Mijal Artica is a Mechanical-Electrical Engineering Designer at Fine Engineering & Development Inc. with experience in HVAC design, thermal load calculations, equipment selection, and technical drafting for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. She also brings international air conditioning training and practical experience in ventilation, piping layouts, and climate control system design.
Mijal has supported projects involving heat load calculations, equipment specification, duct and piping design, and technical documentation. Her background includes hands-on use of AutoCAD, LATS CAD, LATS HVAC, Elite CHVAC, QuickFan, DuctSizer, PipeSizer, and Coolselector, helping deliver coordinated and technically grounded mechanical-electrical solutions.
